I'm the founder and CEO of Hope Family Cottage - a not-for-profit community organisation which supports vulnerable children and families, by providing Supervised Child Contact and Family Support Services on the Central Coast of NSW.
I'm a Nationally Accredited Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner in my own private practice, and I work at the University of Newcastle as a casual academic, teaching undergraduate psychology students.
I enjoy volunteering with the Iris Foundation conducting research, evaluating the effectiveness of their “Cool Kids” program in schools.
On top of this, I am currently studying towards my PhD in Psychology at the University of Newcastle.
Engaging communities and helping families are the two things that I care about most.
With two teenage children (and two very cute fur babies), I know all too well the struggles which accompany life as a single parent.
In my spare time, I enjoy renovating, reading and prettying up furniture with paint.
