As Choose Thrive Inc is dedicated to supporting youth and young adults, we believe that their voice is the most important one, when ensuring that we are successful. For this reason, we have established a committee of youth and young adults, which was formed to meet the following objectives:

• Ensure the voices of young people are being heard
• Ensure that as an organization, we are aware the current issues and concerns that young people are facing
• Generate and discuss new ideas for Solutions and initiatives
• Provide feedback on Solutions and new initiatives
• Raise community awareness about our cause
• Foster teamwork and collaboration with other young people
• Support the Board and Staff
• Volunteer – in the Café, Shop, Fundraising, at events etc

Our Committee formally meets once a month, but may also choose to meet intermittently when required – as a whole group, smaller groups or one on one.

The Committee Leader will meet with the Young Adult representative on the Board once a month, who will then report back to the rest of the Board at the next monthly Board meeting.
